I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming countryside retreat for a short break and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. the value for money was exceptional, with affordable prices that didn't break the bank. Secondly, the attention to detail in the hotel was commendable, with well-equipped rooms and even the provision of basic amenities like dishwasher and washing up liquid. The location in an open area added to the overall ambiance, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery. Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I particularly appreciated their prompt response to any requests, such as providing fresh towels daily and even delivering forgotten items like sugar and salt.
All in all, my experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic and there is not a single aspect that I believe could be improved upon. Everything was simply perfect.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. The location was perfect, nestled in a tranquil area, close to stunning attractions like Ravenglass and Muncaster Castle. The hotel offered comfortable timber lodges that were tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the hot tub on the lodge's veranda, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. The price was very reasonable, offering great value for money. Plus, the breakfast provided was delicious and filling, giving us the energy we needed for the day ahead. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others.
All aspects of our stay were satisfactory.

We had a wonderful romantic escape in the countryside. the views surrounding the lodge were stunning, with cows grazing in the fields and a beautiful park for leisure activities. We loved the hot tub, which was the perfect temperature and provided a relaxing end to our day. the lodge itself was well-equipped with a comfortable sofa and a TV in every room.
The lodge felt a little cramped for two people. the lack of basic amenities such as salt and oil in the kitchen was a small inconvenience.

Decent view from the balcony and close to town center. Room was spacious and clean with fresh towels and linen. The bar was well stocked.
The check-in process was chaotic and disorganized. The staff was rude and unhelpful.
